In the past Taiwan ''s EA consumers relied exclusively on imports. Once the OUCC ethanolamine plant went on stream, its output gradually eliminated the need for imported products. As a result, local industries, particularly TEA users, can avoid the CWC importation procedures, and now have access to a steady supply of fine quality raw materials at a reasonable price. Having a local EA supplier enhances the competitiveness of the local detergent, cosmetics, concrete additives, and agrochemical industries in worldwide markets.
Derived from EO which is difficult to transport and costly to produce, EA products are sold domestically to replace imported products, and also exported extensively to Mainland China , Southeast Asia , Europe , and the U.S. Because of the increased global demand for EA, after the completion of the 2nd EA plant construction, OUCC is the largest EA supplier in Asia.

Household and industrial detergents, textile auxiliary, acid gas scrubbing, pharmaceutical intermediates, solvents for electronics, factory water treatment, resin preparation, metal surface treatment, wood preservatives.
*Application of Diethanolamine (DEA)
Shampoos and toiletries, cosmetics, household and industrial detergents, textiles auxiliary, acid gas scrubbing, insecticides and herbicides, PU crosslink, lubricants and metalworking compounds, resin preparation, fluorescent whitening agent.

*Application of Triethanolamine (TEA)
Shampoos and toiletries, cosmetics, household and industrial detergents, textiles auxiliary, cement and concrete additives, lubricants and metalworking compounds, resin preparation, catalyst to crosslink PU rigid foam, fluorescent whitening agent.
